I have had 2 westies and love mine, but I recently saw an Itasca Sunstar--22 ft. on a VW chassis--not a Rialta--had a full bathroom in back, sofa, breakfast booth and queensize bed over the cab. Anyone know anything about them?

I have looked at all the ads--have a chance to buy a used one--2002--but sure wish I had a way to get to some message boards with comments from owners of a Sunstar. Any ideas? What kind of a reputation do they have? Thanks!

There is a Yahoo!Group for the Sunstar/Vista models here: <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Vista-Sunstar
>

I am a member of www.rv.net and a search of their forums for 'Sunstar' and opinions include that the units have very little cargo capacity because of their small payload and the availability of dealer service locations that can handle the taller (than a Rialta) Sunstars.

Good luck,

Winnebago has discontineud the Rialta & Sunstar effective 2003. They currently offer NO VW chassis products, not even the Winnebago-made official VW Eurovan camper. We are VW camper-less -- a sad day in Westyville.
