Side lights incorporated into the headlights on 1991 Vanagon

Has anyone added side lights into their headlights on a 1991 (square lighted) Vanagon or are you aware of where these lights can be sourced?

I have seen vans from other countries use smaller bulbs (5w-7w) to illuminate the headlights on their vehicles. I've heard them called "city lights" or "side lights" and they usually attach onto the rear of the headlight and shine into the headlight lens.

I can easily wire in 'extra' bulbs but before I go through the pain of re-engineering this I would like to ask if anyone has found a solution to this.:D

OK, lack of direction required me to figure it out for myself which I did while changing my headlights to Bi-Xenon. I got some 10mm LED's, wired in the appropriate resistor, made it all weather proof then ground down the lens until it was flat. Then, I put the LED in between the main light and the high beam light. Works great with minimal work. I'll take pictures soon and post them.
