A virtual Westy wave for now.

Greetings. My wife and I have a 1990 automatic, which we of course, love. However, our headlights are ridiculously and dangerously weak at night. Twice now the headlamps have passed the official inspection, which surprises us. I confess that auto mechanics is not my forte, but maybe the problem is bad grounds or corroded sockets rather than the bulbs? In any event I'm wondering where Westy owners go in Napa valley or Santa Rosa to have work done? Yelp and etc. hasn't been helpful. Many thanks.

I totally agree. We upgraded the headlights on our 1984 Westy a few years back and were amazed by how much we could finally SEE at night. Everyone with the original headlights should upgrade in the interest of safety. Seriously.
