Default Any thoughts on this rust situation 91 westy...

Hello, just curious if anyone has any thoughts on rust thats eating up my 91 Westy. the underneath is super clean and i have never driven it in the winter. last time i had the state inspection, they said it would not pass next time. the worst is where the hookups are on the drivers side, the entire panel needs to go and the seams are rusting on the passenger side rear quarter, and you can see inside the sliding door track is rusty. it has a new motor a few years ago with not even a couple thousand miles on it and all new brakes, brake lines etc. Has anyone had any experience fixing something up this rusty? trying to figure out if it is worth fixing. I would hate to get rid of it and would like to start using it again. runs and drives great. thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I would take it to a reputable restoration shop and get an opinion on the work involved and how serious it is. It's specialty work if you want it to last and it will give you better insight.
