    Default Rear Hatch struts 1989

Hi and though I see someone asked about rear hatch struts previously ... (geez, finding out what part I needed makes me feel so "in-the-know. >stuffs head back in cap<)
... I would like to know if you think it takes 2 sets of hands to replace them . I have an 1989 Vanagon. Would like to get the rear hatch in working order before I take the van to the garage.
Thanking you forward for any information you would provide.

Just replaced the rear hatch struts on my '89. Supported the hatch with a stick and did one at a time. Took no time at all.

Thank you so much for your reply; and, I figured out how to put crutch tips on the ends of dowling so I don't mar the paint. :-) those head concussions are getting expensive, yuck, yuck, yuck yuck
