I know that there is probably a lot of good reasons that there are no threads about this issue but I thought I would solicit help/advice despite that.

I was attempting to replace the stock propane cylinder on my 1989 Westy with a standard manchester replacement tank with the new regulator. This swap requires the copper lines that lead to the burners be shortened. The lines on my van had seen some time living near the beach and as I tried to fit the cut lines to the new tank one of them broke off flush with the bottom of the van.

There is (obviously) nothing in the "Big Green Book" about fixing this. I am at a loss. Am I just screwed?
