    Default 1988 mercedes 309d westfalia

    Hi all,

hoping someone here might have the information i need. apologies if i am posting in the wrong forum.
I am looking at buying a 1988 mercedes 309d westfalia 'james cook'. Its an automatic. in fabulous condition-only 120000kms and stored indoors for the last 10 years. could someone tell me the spec of the engines used in these? is it 65, 88 or 95 PS (horsepower).are they 4 cylinder or 5? was the auto box 4 speed? do they have a bit of power in them. what are the cruising speeds? are they ok climbing hills? any advice on buying and caring for one of these appreciated? is there somewhere on the vehicle that i can find out the engine spec?

    thanks.

This does not appear to be a VW Vanagon or bus based Westfalia. It would be a Mercedes based platform that would share mechanicals with Mercedes products of that era.
