    Default Clutch Diaphragm

Hi, I have a question about a clutch pressure plate and spring diaphragm. On a 1970 Westy, I have the early style diaphragm with spring fingers and the hub that engages with the throw out bearing. With the pressure plate bolted up to the flywheel, is the hub that engages with the throw out bearing supposed to have play in it, ours moves around in the fingers, just does'nt seem quite right to me.
Any one have any information on this.
    Thanks Kevin

Hi Kevin, Do you still have an issue? If so a picture would be worth a 1000 words (figuratively and literally). I am not quite understanding where the 'play' is.

    Let us know.
