    Default Westy vs. Tree

A tree fell on my beloved Westy last fall. It's been a long road to acceptance that I'm not going to be able to travel with my son in the same Westy that carried my father to ~35 states and countless KOA's.

I'm keeping the Porsche engine. What else might be worth salvaging?

I actually don't think I'll get another one, at least not soon. For my purposes recently the Westy is a bit unsuited. I am on a race team and like to stay track side with the other half and my boy. With the Westy it's a bit of a pain to pack up every time we go out to dinner and whatnot. I'm leaning towards a popup trailer.
