    Default bad fuel milage

Hi, I have an 84 westfalia, 1.9l with a 4 speed manual transmission, I am averaging about 200 km to a tank of gas, and for the first 1/4 of the tank the gas seems to just fly, i can not see any leaks any where, do any one have any ideas for me? Thanks.

You should not expect better than 11 to 12 l/100kms.... even worse in city traffic. If you are filling up with close to 40 litres for the 200 kms, then your consumption is pretty bad. If you are filling with about 30 litres for 200 kms, then it is on the bad side, but not extreme.
Always the first things to check are filters, especially the air filter, or any kinked or blocked intake hoses.
