Default Quality comparison: Vanagon vs Eurovan

I'm presently looking at later model Vanagon Westies and Eurovan Westies. My question is how does the Eurovan compare, quality/repair wise with a water cooled vanagon?
Also, can anyone give me a link(s) to more information on a mid 1990s Eurovan?
    Thanks
    Ron

A friend of mine just spent a good chunk of this summer researching that very question. He's decided that the later Vanagons were far more trouble-free than the early Eurovans ... better built, fewer mechanical problems, better resale value. FWIW, he just bought an '86 Vanagon last weekend.
