    Post 1992 Eurovan CV Westfalia Fridge

    My fridge has stopped getting cold. The fridge controls are working and there is a low electrical hum when switched on. The auxilliary batteries show 13.0v charge. The chest fridge was made by Enthaelt Luxembourg for Westfalia. I think it runs on 110 or battery no propane to light.
    Any suggestions on repairing?
    Thanks
    Graham

    Sounds like the refrigeration gas has leaked out

    Mine does the same thing -- works on 110 volt external power hookup but will not work on 12 volt auxiliary battery, while driving. I cannot seem to get anyone to remedy the problem, nor can i find anyone who has parts or knowledge of these refrigerators. If you have any luck, do let me know

    Much thanks

    Hello Bruce;

    Did you resolve this problem. I have a similar problem and suspect the Fridge coolant needs re-charged but don't know how to do it. Do you?
