    Default Hauling a 1976 Westifalia

This will probably be under the wrong topic but I didn't know which one would be best for my question. We need to haul my dad's Westifalia about 35 miles to a shop. Has anyone ever hauled one on a 16 foot trailer? It's 6'x16' double axle. Not sure how long these buses are. Thanks.

About 175 inches long (14.6'). You should have no trouble. (The bus is only about eight inches longer than the VW bug, amazingly.)

I found a good table online, here: http://www.bustopia.com/vw-weigh-size-dimensions.html
I hope it helps, and good luck hauling your dad's Westy
