Calling all Volkswagen aficionados: this delightful, matching Microbus and camper van just might be the best vintage VW set up we’ve seen yet.
Recently sold at auction for $159,500 and first reported by Outside Magazine, the restored van is a highly sought-after, 23-window 1963 Microbus in its original two-tone color of turquoise and blue white. This beauty has all the whistles, like a safari windshield, full-length sunroof, and 50-brake horsepower four-cylinder engine.
And while that would be enough to inspire some jealously, what really sets this vehicle apart is the matching 1967 Eriba Puck camper. According to RM Auctions Sotheby’s, the camper is believed to be one of only five known survivors of a model designed specifically to mate with the Mircobus. Inside, you’ll find a two-burner propane stove, a sink, dining table, pop-up roof, twin beds, and enough turquoise to make your 1960s heart swoon.
We just can’t get enough of the classic VW styling and vintage touches. The van even comes with a set of matching vintage luggage and the prerequisite hula girl on the dash. Check out the full photo gallery, below.
